On November 17, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that roofing and facade works of apartment buildings under the capital repair should not be postponed to the autumn-winter period. It is necessary to hold timely auctions and prepare project documentation.
Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of the capital repair programme and said that as many as 984 multi-apartment houses were included into the programme with the total funding amounting to 6 billion roubles.
He continued that as many as 28 general education institutions and 94 pre-school institutions were included into the major repair programme with the total funding amounting to 1.7 billion roubles.
As of November 15, as many as 84 pre-school institutions have been overhauled and the works at 10 facilities are underway. Besides, as many as 38 of 42 cultural facilities, included into the capital repair programme in Tatarstan, have been overhauled in 2018.
Tatarstan President gave an errand to strictly control the quality of work in unfinished houses so that there were no complaints from the residents. He also instructed the head of the State Housing Inspection of Tatarstan to report on the delay in the overhaul.
