Major work on improving activity of primary health care - urban and rural policlinics, village first-aid stations is being implemented in the sphere of republican health care. An acute social problem was discussed at an extended visiting session of the RT State Council Presidium in Aznakaevo.

The session was held by the head of the Tatarstan Parliament Farid Mukhametshin.

Upon arrival to Aznakaevo region the Council chairman and members of the Presidium accompanied by the Head of municipal executive committee Marsel Shaidullin visited several objects which activity is connected with the theme of the visiting session.

Major work has been implemented before today’s event. Deputies acquainted with the system of primary medical services in medical institutions of Kazan and Vysokaya Gora region, Farid Mukhametshin informed.

“For the last few years much work has been fulfilled in the sphere of high-tech medicine. Modern large centers have been constructed in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetievsk. However, primary health care lags behind. We pay much attention to this problem, because people turn to these specialists first of all. We face an important task on health maintenance and increase of lifetime of our citizens,” Head of the Parliament said.

RT Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov reported on performance of legislation on protection of citizens’ health in terms of rendering primary medical-sanitary aid.
