Rustam Minnikhanov and Igor Komarov get acquainted with the work of new clinic in Kazan

On November 14, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Mother and Child clinic, opened in Kazan the day before, where they looked around cabinets of ultrasound investigation, a gynecologist, a reproductive specialist, an embryologist, a cryoreservoir, an operating room, wards and an examination room.

The chief doctor of the medical institution Evgeniy Yupatov said that this is the first clinic of the Mother and Child group of companies in Tatarstan.

The total area of the clinic is about 700 square meters and includes women’s consultation clinic with a full cycle of pregnancy follow-up and department of IVF (in vitro fertilization).

Director of the Mother and Child Ural region  Alsou Nazyrova added that the opening of a clinic in Kazan is the first stage of the project, it is planned to build a hospital in the future.

The Mother and Child Group of Companies unites 40 medical institutions, including five hospitals and 35 outpatient clinics and is represented in 22 cities of Russia. The company transfers about two billion roubles of taxes a year. The total investment in the project amounted to almost 60 million roubles in Kazan. It is planned to spend another 3.5 billion roubles for the construction of the hospital.
