On November 13, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the IT park in Naberezhnye Chelny, where they got acquainted with projects of its residents.
Among others, they were presented projects for monitoring trade networks, promoting goods and medical services. In particular, the NeksMed Company demonstrated a project of a virtual medical laboratory created using cloud based technology. “We have created a system that stores the archive of analyzes, monitors their implementation and optimizes the process itself. We also have hardware solutions,” a representative of the company said. He noted that residents of the IT park also created a mobile application that simplifies the cooperation between a doctor, patient and laboratory. To date, solutions created by residents have already been introduced in 18 medical institutions, mainly in Kazan, and they help process about 10,000 tests daily. Tatarstan President recommended that entrepreneurs should introduce their development both in public and private clinics. “You need to make laboratories to earn money,” Minnikhanov shared his opinion.
Minnikhanov and Komarov also visited the Kvantorium Children's Technopark opened at the IT Park in Naberezhnye Chelny. They were shown training classes, laboratories for 3D-modeling, equipment for reading bio-signals of the brain and controlling various devices. Tatarstan President paid special attention to small copies of electric cars.
The IT Park has been operating in Naberezhnye Chelny since 2012. The total area of the complex is more than 25,000 square meters. In 2016, the Kvantorium Children's Technopark was launched at the IT Park.
