Rustam Minnikhanov and Vladimir Vasilyev agree to develop cooperation between Tatarstan and Dagestan

On November 12, immediately upon his arrival in Makhachkala, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had an official meeting with Head of the Republic of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev, during which current issues of interregional cooperation were discussed.

At the moment, cooperation between the regions is developing under the Agreement and the Action Plan on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between Tatarstan and Dagestan, which were signed on the 5th of February, 2018 during a working visit of Minnikhanov to Makhachkala.

The launching of a direct flight on the Kazan-Makhachkala route, which is aimed at promoting the development of relations in other areas, was one of the main achievements the regions reached in 2018.
