Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in the Republic of Dagestan

On November 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in the Republic of Dagestan to take part in the fourth meeting of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group, was met by Head of the Republic of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev and Chairman of the Government of Dagestan Artem Zdunov at the Makhachkala Airport.

Upon his arrival, Minnikhanov is scheduled to have a meeting with Vasilyev to discuss issues related to the development of interregional cooperation.

Then, Minnikhanov will chair the fourth meeting of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group, which will address an issue of counteracting extremist ideology trough education of young people. As a concrete proposal aimed at counteracting radicalism among the youth, it is proposed to establish a joint Russian-Muslim Academy of Future Leaders at the Bolgar Islamic Academy.
