Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Petropavlovsk (Kazakhstan)

On November 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Petropavlovsk (Kazakhstan) to take part in the Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum with the participation of the leaders of the two states.

During his stay in Petropavlovsk, Minnikhanov is expected to visit a number of industrial enterprises in Kazakhstan, including the Munaymash  (deep well sucker-rod pumps for oil production).

Moreover, Minnikhanov and other forum participants will get acquainted with the exhibition, which presents the industrial potential of the North Kazakhstan region, and will also attend the tourist exhibition.

Then, a plenary meeting of the 15th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum will take place with the participation of the leaders of Russia and Kazakhstan. This year the forum topic is dedicated to new approaches and trends in the development of tourism in Russia and Kazakhstan. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, will deliver their welcoming speeches at the plenary session.
