Tatarstan President gets acquainted with the activities of the Micran innovative enterprise in Tomsk

On November 8, during his working visit to Tomsk region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the activities of the Micran Research and Production Company, which develops radio-electronic technology.

Founded in 1991, the Micran specializes in telecommunications, radar, microwave electronics, information measuring systems, robotics, mechatronics and other spheres. The company is actively developing the industrial Internet of things, competencies in the photonics and power electronics markets.

Micran has a full production cycle with its own development department and production of items, starting from microwave electronic components to serial products. The company's sales offices are located in Vietnam, Brazil, South Africa and Italy. The Micran is also in promoting its products in the CIS countries and the Middle East.

Minnikhanov was presented samples of products and was told about the history of the company, experience in the field of production of radio-electronic equipment and prospects for innovative development.

During his visit to the production sites, Tatarstan President got acquainted  with the work of the testing centre as well as assembly and installation lines.
