On October 26, at the Tatneft Arena in Kazan, speaking at the opening ceremony of the Reloading 2.0 Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that one of the main tasks in the development of small and medium-sized businesses is to change the attitude of the authorities towards entrepreneurship.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov thanked First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Anton Siluanov, who has arrived in Kazan, for finding an opportunity to take part in the forum.

Funds included in the federal budget for the development of entrepreneurship will certainly be attracted to Tatarstan, Minnikhanov assured. “I promise to attract them to Tatarstan as much as possible to provide them to you,” he said, addressing businessmen who participated in the forum.

According to Minnikhanov, forums like this are important and in demand today. “We hold a lot of events of different levels for entrepreneurs and I think this is useful. We have agreed to expand the format of the forum,” Minnikhanov said.

Tatarstan President also reminded that the appropriate infrastructure for the development of small and medium-sized businesses have been created in the region and that specialized educational programmes for start-up entrepreneurs and other measures to support small and medium-sized businesses are available in the republic.

“All this is important. But the main thing is that we should change the attitude of the authorities towards entrepreneurs. It is no secret that we still have many bureaucratic obstacles. People who take responsibility, invest in business and create jobs should supported by the authorities. And we will do our utmost to develop entrepreneurship.”

Welcoming participants of the forum, Siluanov stressed that the event is rightly called the Reloading 2.0. This means that today we will have a different attitude towards entrepreneurship and we have new tasks to solve, he said.

The main mission of the Reloading 2.0 intensive forum is to create and develop business community in the republic, which is based on competent entrepreneurial competencies in its activity.

About nine thousand entrepreneurs, businessmen and directors of Tatarstan companies, as well as those who are just about to start their own business, will hear speeches delivered by leading experts in the field of entrepreneurship.
