Rustam Minnikhanov: Small oil companies have extracted 5,345,000 tonnes of oil for nine month of 2018

On October 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on the results of work of small oil companies (SOC) during nine months of 2018 and tasks till the end of this year.

Heads of SOC, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Aide to Tatarstan President Shafagat Takhautdinov and representatives of regional ministries and agencies and federal structures took part in the meeting.

Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan maintained positive momentum of oil production in the first nine months of the current year. After the change in OPEC + details of the transaction in June, oil producers are actively increasing extraction.

As many as 26,882,000 tonnes of crude oil have been extracted in the republic, which is 100,000 tonnes more as compared to the same period last year. Tatneft Oil Company has extracted 21,537,000 tonnes of oil during this period.

“Small oil companies have extracted 5,345,000 tonnes of oil and shipped products for 120 billion roubles. Companies paid taxes payments to all levels of the budget in the amount of over 82 billion roubles,” Minnikhanov said.

Tatarstan President emphasized that according to the results of nine months of the current year, the industrial production index amounted to 101.9 per cent in the republic. “If the oil producers continue to increase the extraction, the general indicator will also grow,” he added.
