As many as 104 sports grounds planned to be built in Tatarstan in 2019

On October 23, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev said that as many as 427 million roubles were allocated for the construction of universal sports grounds and block modular ski centres in Tatarstan in 2019.

According to him, as many as 104 universal sports grounds and 12 modular ski bases are included in the construction programme for the next year.

“We together with the Ministry of Sport of the republic are working on the capital repair programme of facilities and there are a number of decisions adopted. For example, a major overhaul of Basket-Hall Sport Complex and a number of other objects is planned in 2019,” Kudryashev noted.

He added that as many as 791 universal sports grounds and 11 modular ski bases were built in the republic from 2013 to 2017. The total funding amounted to 1b 879 million roubles.
