Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in Russia - Country of Sports International Forum

On October 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Ulyanovsk city to take part in the International Sports Forum “Russia – Country of Sports”.

During the Forum, the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Modern Sport. Innovations and Prospects” was held.

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the plenary session "Physical culture and sport: the main tasks of development". He noted that issues of physical culture and sports are among the high priorities in Russia.

According to Putin, it is important to use the potential of public-private partnership, both in the construction of sports facilities and in its further operation. Thus, the investor should not only invest in the construction of a sports complex or arena, but also participate in its further development and operation.

Over 3,000 people from Russia and other countries, including leaders of federal and regional authorities, world sports leaders, representatives of the Olympic movement and international sports organizations, became guests of the Forum.
