Rustam Minnikhanov meets Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa

On October 8, during his working visit to Japan, in Kanazawa, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikanov had a meeting with Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa.

Hasegawa greeted Tatarstan President in Japan and thanked him for participation in the International Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS-Forum). Minnikhanov thanked Special Advisor for the opportunity to meet.

He said that a large group in medical area as part of Tatarstan delegation arrived in Japan. Minnihanov added that Kazan Federal University is successfully cooperating with Kanazawa University and RIKEN Institute of Physical and Chemical Research.

He also informed about the meeting with leaders of the Junior Chamber of Japan.

The parties discussed a number of working issues on cooperation in some areas.

At the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov invited Hasegawa to visit Tatarstan once again and expressed his hope for further support in the development of joint Tatarstan-Japanese projects.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leila Fazleeva, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other officials took part in the meeting.
