Rustam Minnikhanov meets leaders of the Junior Chamber of Japan

On October 7, in Kanazawa, during his two-day working visit to Japan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with leaders of the Junior Chamber of Japan.

The Junior Chamber is one of the most famous youth organizations in Japan. It was established by analogy of one of the first junior chambers - the United States Junior Chamber.

Welcoming Tatarstan President, the representatives of the Chamber thanked Minnikhanov for his visit to Japan and an opportunity to meet. Then they briefly told him about the activities of the organization and the events it holds.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov proposed establishing cooperation with the Chamber to share experience in the sphere of youth policy.

The development of creative branches of industry, volunteering, work of young people at enterprises, as well as the participation of Japanese skilled people in the WorldSkills Championship to be held in Kazan in 2019, were discussed during the meeting.

As part of the development of international cooperation in the field of youth policy, it is planned to sign a memorandum with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the republic during a return visit of the Junior Chamber of Japan to Tatarstan.

Minnikhanov thanked the activists for an opportunity to meet and expressed his hope that it would give impetus to the development of further cooperation.
