Aleksey Pesoshin: Developing ties with Kazakh companies is an important area of foreign activities of Tatarstan

On September 28, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Consul General of Kazakhstan in Kazan Yerkin Tukumov discussed promising areas of cooperation.

Pesoshin congratulated Tukumov on the appointment, the beginning of his assignment in Tatarstan and wished him success.

"Developing ties with Kazakh companies is an important area of foreign activities of Tatarstan. The promotion of Tatarstan products to Kazakhstan, the attraction of investments from Kazakhstan, the development of cooperation in the field of petrochemical industry, engineering industry, automotive industry, helicopter industry, shipbuilding, power engineering, agriculture, information technologies are the main spheres of cooperation, as well as science, education, culture, sport and tourism. Kazakhstan is an important partner for our republic,” he noted.

It was also mentioned that a meeting of the Russia-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission will be held in Kazan on October 25-26, 2018.
