XXVII session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the fourth convocation opened in the parliament at 10 a.m. today. The Presidium submitted 18 issues for consideration, including 11 bills of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A Report on work of the Accounts Chamber and a Report of the Commissioner on human rights “On observance of rights and liberties of man and citizen in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2011” will be presented at the session.

Moreover, a bill on instituting the title “Honored worker of press and mass media” will be considered.

The corrected agenda of XXVII session of the State Council comprises 30 issues.

The session is held by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.

The State Counselor of republic Mintimer Shaimiev, members of the Government and guests take part in the event.
