On September 15, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilites Irek Faizullin reported that as of September 14, as many as 1,553,600 square meters of housing, which makes 64.7 per cent of the plan for the current year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

Presidential State Housing Fund of the republic has reported to the statistics agencies on 121 houses for 3,873 apartments with the total area of 212,800 square meters.

Faizullin continued that since the beginning of the current year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 1037 inspections and issued 303 decisions on imposing fines for the sum of 11m 823 thousand roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

As many as 159 houses are being built under the investment programme, 93 of them are at high readiness.

He also reported that under the programme of rental housing, it is planned to commission 182 houses for 545 apartments with the total area of 28,700 square meters.

According to the minister, it is planned to build 120 houses under the multiapartment housing investment programme. He added that 78 houses with the total area of 606,800 square meters have already been commissioned.

Faizullin continued that under the programme of construction of rural clubs, as of September 14, 2018, the work has been completed at 20 facilities.

The major repairs at facilities of the State Veterinary Service and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic are under way.

As part of the implementation of the programmes of construction and capital repair of socio-cultural facilities, buildings of Executives Committees of municipalities, health facilities, sports facilities, including swimming pools, multipurpose sports halls are being constructed and overhauled.

The minister also reported on the preparation for a new heating season in the republic.

Thus, on September 13, the planned 6th meeting for the preparation of fuel and energy and housing and utilities facilities for the heating season 2018-2019 was held. The meeting discussed such issues as the development of emergency technical stock for the emergency management at housing and utilities facilities in Tatarstan, preparation for the coming heating season of enterprises implementing combined heat and power facilities, providing heat and electricity, preparation of special equipment, transport and railway access roads to work in the winter conditions of the coming heating season. 

Minnikhanov paid special attention of the heads of municipal regions and relevant departments of the republic to the need to supply heat to apartments and social facilities as scheduled.
