Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the celebration of the 65th anniversary of TNG-Group

On September 7, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the TNG-Group, one of the leading Russian oilfield service companies providing a full range of services in exploration of minerals.

TNG-Group was set up in 2006 as part of Tatneftegeofizika, one of the country's largest and oldest geophysical enterprises, which was established in 1953 to provide oil producers with oil-prospecting facilities and plays an important role in the development and strengthening of the oil and gas complex of Tatarstan and the country.

Minnikhanov congratulated employees of TNG-Group, old stagers and guests of the holiday from the stage.

"We are celebrating the 65th anniversary of the founding of one of the leading enterprises not only in Tatarstan, but also in Russia. TNG-Group is a solid, high-tech company of the country,” Minnikhanov said. “According to historical reference, as many as 70 people worked in the company in 1953. And today it is the largest company with a turnover of 22 billion roubles, employing more than 9,000 people, and it is not the limit! The company works not only in the republic, but also in Siberia, Africa, Asia ... We are proud of such achievements of the enterprise, we believe that this company gives an opportunity to many Tatarstan citizens to prove themselves. We have just watched the film, which gives an idea of ​​the conditions under which our geophysicists work. This is really very difficult, but very important work! And although we talk a lot about new and different types of energy resources, there are and will be hydrocarbons. And your profession will always be in demand. I want to thank you for your high professionalism and wish TNG-Group prosperity. I know that you have won a big contract with Gazprom quite recently. It is known that only reliable companies can work for Gazprom. I wish you success. Keep it up!"

Minnikhanov also handed in state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and Letters of Gratitude of President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished employees.
