Irina Bokova arrived in Kazan

On September 4, the former Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, was met by Tatarstan State Counsellor, UNESCO Special Envoy for Intercultural Dialogue Mintimer Shaimiev at the Kazan International Airport.

Bokova arrived in Tatarstan to take part in the Kazan Forum on intercultural dialogue led by Tatarstan State Counsellor, UNESCO Special Envoy for Intercultural Dialogue Mintimer Shaimiev. Today, under the Kazan Forum Bokova will take part in the opening ceremony of the Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema, held at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex.
