Rustam Minnikhanov: The experience of Tatneft Oil Company has showed high efficiency of digitalization of oil production processes

On September 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Modeling the geologic structure and development processes is the basis for the successful development of oil and oil and gas fields."

The conference is held as part of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry Forum at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre and is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the industrial development of oil fields of Tatarstan.

The event is held with the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan and Tatneft Oil Company.

More than 400 specialists from 8 countries are taking part in the conference, with 122 reports to be made.

The main oil fields in the country are at the stage of declining production, while the quality of residual reserves is deteriorating, Minnikhanov said opening the conference. According to him, the world's leading oil companies are working to create intellectual deposits.

The experience of  Tatneft Oil Company has shown high efficiency of digitalization of oil production processes, Minnikhanov noted. "Oil workers of Tatarstan are interested in the experience of their colleagues, we are interested in cooperation," he explained the choice of today's topic.
