Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Zdorovye Park in Almetyevsk and takes part in the opening of the Karakuz sculpture in front of Tatneft Oil Company's main office

On September 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Almetyevsk to take part in the festive events dedicated to the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers and the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the commercial development of Tatarstan oil fields.
Minnikhanov is scheduled to visit a number of facilities, including a new park, a park zone of Tatneft Oil Company, a children's city hospital with a perinatal centre  and to get acquainted with the projects of the participants of the 6th All-Russian Conference of the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre and the All-Russian Competition of the Agro-robo-festival, etc.

The main event will be the solemn opening of the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers on Lenin Square in the center of Almetyevsk.
The Zdorovye Park became the first facility Minnikhanov got acquainted with.

The concept of the park was to create a quiet and cozy nook of nature. The works on planting, strengthening of the river zone, constructing a bridge, sports equipment (a sports ground) and a playground for children have been carried out here. In addition to the overhead light, the park is equipped with illumination of trees. There are benches and bins along the pedestrian paths.

The Karakuz sculpture by the artist Dashi Namdakov was unveiled and installed in front of the main office of the Tatneft in Almetyevsk.
The sculpture depicts the woman-warrior Karakuz, known from the legends of the Tatar people, a historical figure born in our region, which is confirmed by the Sh. Mardjani Institute of History. The seven-meter sculpture is located in a green recreation area and is harmoniously integrated into the urban environment.
The President expressed his confidence that Almetyevsk citizens will enjoy this site and other projects of this year, which will attract many people here.
