On September 2, Tatarstan President, Board Chairman of Tatneft Oil Company Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated workers of oil and gas industry on their professional holiday.

Oil and gas are the greatest wealth of our country. Your selfless work, the highest professionalism and responsibility are the basis of the domestic economy, serve to guarantee well-being and worthy future for the citizens of our country.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the industrial development of oil fields in Tatarstan. Oil workers greet their professional holiday with bright production achievements and successfully implemented large-scale social projects. Today the oil and gas enterprises of the republic hold leading positions in our country in terms of the growth of production efficiency, the development of the resource base. Tatarstan is still one of the main and promising reserves of oil-producing centres of Russia.

These results are based on the heroic efforts of our old stagers. You have formed a powerful foundation for the stable social and economic development of Tatarstan, which allows us to confidently look into the future and move forward.

Oil and gas enterprises of the republic have new large-scale projects ahead. I am sure in their successful implementation.
