State Council Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputy chairman of the Committee on urgent issues of the Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe Farid Mukhametshin has arrived in Strasbourg within the united Russian delegation in order to take part in XXII session of Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe.

Members of European parliaments will discuss the impact of financial crisis on local and regional authorities, share opinions regarding the current situation in world politics and economy in the course of session.

Farid Mukhametshin is also going to attend sessions of the Chamber of regions, Committee on urgent issues and other governing bodies of Congress of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe.
