Tatarstan President visits the Itinerants of 1871 – 1902 exhibition of the State Tretyakov Gallery in the Kazan Kremlin

On August 31, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition “Itinerants of the 1871 – 1902”. The collection from the State Tretyakov Gallery” organized in the Hermitage Centre in the Kazan Kremlin.

Director General of the State Tretyakov Gallery Zelphira Tregulova held a tour of the exhibition for Tatarstan President.

The exhibition consists of 57 works by prominent artists of that period - Ilya Repin, Ivan Kramskoy, Vladimir and Constantine Makovsky, Illarion Pryanishnikov, Vasily Polenov, Ivan Shishkin, and others.

There are also paintings introduced at the mobile exhibitions in Kazan: “Repair work at the railway” by Konstantin Savitsky, “In the year 1812” by Illarion Pryanishnikov, “Bee-keeper” by Van Kramskoy and others.

The exhibition, which started on June 14 and had a great success among the guests of the World Cup 2018, will last until September 16.

Minnikhanov also visited the Tsar's Gifts exhibition, at which 27 jewels from the collection of the State Hermitage were introduced. The exhibition will last until September 25.
