Rustam Minnikhanov opens the 8th Tatarstan President’s Cup charity golf tournament

On August 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, President of Russian Golf Association Viktor Khristenko took part in the opening ceremony of the 8th Tatarstan President’s Cup charity golf tournament at Sviyaga hills golf club.

Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the participants and thanked everyone for their participation.

“We are holding our 8th tournament.  This is being done for the well-being of children who need help, and I thank the teams that came to participate in the tournament,” Tatarstan President emphasized.

Khristenko noted that the charity tournament became traditional. He expressed his gratitude to Minnikhanov for his loyalty to the game and for his efforts to develop golf in Tatarstan.

All funds collected during the tournament will be sent to “Ronald McDonald House” in Kazan.
