Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Shamil Gafarov lay flowers at the monument to Tatar scientist Sadri Maksudi in Kazan

On August 25, during his working visit to Kazan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu together with Chief of Staff of Cabinet of Ministers of the republic Shamil Gafarov visited the Istanbul park.

An event timed to coincide with the 140th anniversary of the birth of prominent Tatar and Turkish scientist and statesman Sadri Maksudi was held in the park.

Çavuşoğlu and Gafarov laid flowers at the monument to Sadri Maksudi, which was unveiled in 2016. After that, the Turkish Minister talked to the representatives of the Turkish diaspora in Tatarstan.
