Rustam Minnikhanov visits a new farm of the Vakhitov Agricultural Production Cooperative in Kukmor region of the republic

On August 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Kukmor region of the republic to take part in a plenary session of the August meeting of teaching employees of the republic.

Upon his arrival in the region, Minnikhanov together with Head of the region Sergey Dimitriyev visited a new farm of the Vakhitov Agricultural Production Cooperative. The construction of the dairy complex for 1,200 heads was completed in 2015. The Delaval equipment is used at the complex, which provides for a single technological mode using resource-saving technologies.

An effective technology to keep cows separate is introduced at the complex. Automation of feeding and drinking processes, a well-designed microclimate system make it possible to use both energy resources and feeding stuff, as well as labor resources wisely. The complex employs 16 people, including operators and engineers.

Head of the agricultural cooperative Nafik Khusainov noted that this project will make it possible increase sales of milk up to 19,000 tonnes per year (50-52 tonnes per day).
