Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting of graduates of the Kazan Suvorov Military School: Your life is a symbol of honor, courage and high dedication

On August 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defence Minister of Russia Valery Gerasimov took part in the solemn event, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of graduation from the Kazan Suvorov Military School.

“I congratulate you on the 45th anniversary of the graduation from the Kazan Suvorov Military School. Each of you, who are in the ranks, has passed the test of civil and moral maturity and feels the inextricable connection of time and generations. Your life is a symbol of honor, courage and high dedication. “Life to motherland, honor to no one!” - Suvorov's graduates firmly follow this motto in their life,” Minnikhanov emphasized in his speech.

According to him, the Suvorov School has always been famous for the highest level of teaching and the graduates have a solid foundation of the knowledge gained. For the years of existence of the school, thousands of young men have received the Suvorov’s training.

Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and personally to Gerasimov for continued attention and assistance to the Kazan School.

Gerasimov emphasized that the year of 2018 is significant because it marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Suvorov military schools in the Soviet Union.

He added that the Kazan School is developing, the educational and material facilities are being improved and innovative approaches are being introduced in training of students. Gerasimov paid tribute the leadership of the republic in this development.
