Tatarstan President visits Firma MVEN Aviation Enterprise in Kazan

On August 16, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Firma MVEN Aviation Enterprise.  

The enterprise focuses on two areas, such as the development and serial production of various types of parachute systems, including unique high-speed parachute systems designed to save crew members and passengers of a plane and the development and production of aircrafts made of polymer-composite materials.

During his visit, Minnikhanov looked around the production facilities, equipment, prototype and mass production facilities, as well as the final assembly shop.

Chief Designer of MVEN Company Viktor Yermolenko told Minnikhanov about the implementation of projects in the aircraft construction sector. In particular, today the enterprise specializes in the production of a light agricultural aircraft MVEN-2 “Fermer” for crop dusting. The MV-500 aircraft is also intended for aerial spraying of crops.

Also, Tatarstan President was presented the multi-purpose four-seat aircraft "Murena", the official presentation of which took place at the AKTO exhibition in August this year. Moreover, the specialists of MVEN Company continue to develop a new turbojet business-class aircraft.

Then, Minnikhanov discussed a number of issues related to the development of light aviation in Tatarstan with senior managers of MVEN Company and representatives of the regional ministries.
