Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Tetyushytekhsteklo production facilities and the Museum of Fishing Industry History in Tetyushy

On August 14, during his working visit to Tetyushy, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Tetyushytechsteklo plant producing double-glazed windows.

Earlier today, Minnikhanov held a meeting with farmers of Tetyushy region and discussed issues of the current harvesting campaign with them.

Tetyushytekhsteklo is located in the Tetyushy municipal industrial site. In 2016, a production building was built and LISEC Austrian equipment was purchased. In January 2017, the factory began to produce its first products - double-glazed windows and grooved glass. Finished products are sold in Tatarstan and Chuvashia, with construction organizations, agricultural producers and greenhouse farms being the main consumers. 

Last year the plant produced 150 thousand units of glass products. In future, the company's management plans to increase production by launching the second line to assemble insulating glass units and expanding the range of manufactured goods.

Minnikhanov was told that the plant employs 46 people and that advanced technologies to improve  workplaces - one of the tools of lean manufacturing are used at the enterprise.

During his visit to Tetyushy Minnikhanov also got acquainted with the results of the reconstruction of the central city park and visited the Museum of Fishing Industry History.
