During his working visit to Moscow, Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of Transport of Russia Yevgeny Dietrich

On August 13, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Minister of Transport of Russia Yevgeny Dietrich.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov reported on the development of the regional traffic system and on the most significant projects implemented in the field of road infrastructure of Tatarstan.

It was noted in particular that the total amount of financing under the road maintenance programme makes 26.9 billion roubles in the republic in 2018. It is planned to build and reconstruct 69.4 km of regional roads and to repair 195.8 km of regional roads and 10 bridges using funds under the programme in 2018.

Work to repair the road network in regional settlements, to repair the existing asphalt and concrete roads in settlements, repair yard territories and driveways in cities of the republic is in progress in Tatarstan.

As for the capital of Tatarstan – Kazan, road maintenance work is carried out under the Safe and high-quality roads programme, repair of the road network of the city is also underway.

Minister of Transport and Roads of the republic Lenar Safin took part in the meeting.
