Tatarstan Ministry of Health: Over 118,000 Tatarstan residents have the right to receive social services in the form of medicines

On August 7, speaking at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Minister of Health of the republic Marat Sadykov said that 118,667 Tatarstan residents have the right to receive social services in the form of medicines. A total of 337,466 residents of the republic are in the federal register.

Sadykov said that the federal programme of providing the necessary medicines funded from the federal budget has been implemented since 2005.

According to him, 260 health institutions of Tatarstan are involved in the implementation of the programme and 159 specialized pharmacy organizations dispense the medicines under this programme.

This year, the total funding of the federal programme is 1.6 billion roubles, Tatarstan Minister of Health emphasized.
