RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin held a regular meeting with participation of the lower chamber of the Russian Parliament representing Tatarstan officials of republican ministries and agencies.

To the point, in accordance with the assignment of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin fulfills general coordination management for a joint work on attracting federal funds to the republican economy.

The first organizational meeting with deputies of State Duma of new convocation was held in Moscow. General strategic goals and tasks were set up at the meeting. Before the today’s meeting working groups have been formed, the membership approved and supervised fields described in details.

RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov told the attendees on accomplished work in 2011 and tasks for 2012 and the mid-term.

Last year, more than 66 bln roubles were provided by federal budget for realization of several Tatarstan projects. A third of funds have been appropriated for measures on preparation for Universiade-2013. 30 bln roubles of federal funds are planned to be involved in republican economy this year.

Participants of the meeting agreed on submitting all budget requests for funding construction works, objects and measures realized in republic to field federal agencies by April, 1.

During the meeting deputies of State Duma and officials of ministries and departments exchanged proposals and recommendations on improving joint work and defined policy of further actions.
