The implementation of regional capital repair programmes of social facilities is underway in Tatarstan

On July, 28, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regional municipalities, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of capital repair of multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan.

Faizullin reminded that 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5.3 million square metres in 43 municipal regions of the republic are taking part in the capital repair programme in 2018. It is planned to improve living facilities for more than 224,000 citizens of the republic. The total funding amounting to 6b 76m 348 thousand roubles is allocated to the programme in 2018.

As of July 26, as many as 12 municipal schools of 16 planned are being overhauled. In addition, the capital repair in 12 special schools and in 79 of 94 pre-school institutions is under way. 

The major repair of recourse centres (colleges) is under way in the republic.

It is scheduled to overhaul 42 cultural facilities with the total funding amounting to 342m 975 thousand roubles in 2018. As of July 26, as many as 26 cultural facilities are being overhauled.

According to Faizullin, the major repair programme of youth clubs with strengthening their facilities is continuing. As of July 26, the capital repair at 9 facilities of 28 planned is underway and 19 facilities have been overhauled.

Faizullin also reported on the implementation of capital repair programme of Executives Committees (Councils) of municipalities, municipal archives, social services institutions and buildings of youth centres of the republic.

Under the capital repair programme, 114 outpatient centres with the total funding amounting to 3b 195m 720 thousand roubles will be repaired in 2018.

It is scheduled to overhaul 64 machine and tractor fleets, 128 grain-cleaning complexes, grain storages and covered granaries, 232 cowsheds, 11 vegetable stores in the current year.

As part of implementation of priority project “Development of comfortable urban environment” 2 bln roubles are allocated from the regional budget and 655 mln 108,9 thousand roubles from the federal budget, as many as 58 public space facilities, in particular, 28 parks, 16 embankments and beaches, 6 streets, 3 garden squares, 4 avenues and one square are planned to be developed. 

He also reported that 25 facilities, including 12 educational institutions, will be adapted under the Accessible Environment programme in 2018.
