Rustam Minnikhanov meets senior managers of Siemens Company

On July 18, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior managers of the German Siemens Company considered issues related to further strengthening of cooperation between the republic and the company in the field of education, the development of digital medicine, and also discussed promising power engineering projects.

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov noted that the republic has had a lot of experience in working with German companies. The interaction between Tatarstan and Siemens is carried out under the agreement signed in 2012. "Siemens is a strategic partner of Tatarstan. The segments of our cooperation are diversified,” Minnikhanov noted.

As noted at the meeting, the German concern is involved in projects implemented in the republic in the field of power-engineering and petrochemical industry and works closely with regional universities. Moreover, the Siemens sensor assembly line for oil and gas chemical companies operates in the republic.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, Aide to Tatarstan President Albert Nafigin, representatives of regional ministries and leading power-engineering enterprises took part in the meeting.
