Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of and CEO of Pernod Ricard Alexandre Ricard

On July 6, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Alexandre Ricard. 

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov said that Pernod Ricard is one of the world's producers and suppliers of alcoholic beverages, engaged in marketing and distribution of world famous brands in Russia.

"You are the world's largest leader, and we are interested in working together. Today the Tatspirtprom Distillery is making efforts to enter new markets, promoting its own products. A strategic partnership with such a company like Pernod Ricard would be of interest to us,” Minnikhanov said.

Then the meeting discussed prospects for further cooperation between Pernod Ricard and Tatspirtprom Distillery.

As noted at the meeting, Tatspirtprom is an exclusive distributor of Pernod Ricard products in Tatarstan. As part of the development of cooperation, it is planned to expand the distribution of Pernod Ricard products through the Tatspirtprom trading house in Russian regions, in the Urals Federal District in particular.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Director General of Tatspirtprom Distillery Irek Minnakhmetov and other officials took part in the meeting.
