Deputies of the Council of Verkhneuslonsky municipal region have discussed outcomes of social-economic development of for 2011 and plans for 2012. Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in a report session of municipal representative body. Chief of executive committee Marat Ziatdinov presented a report to the deputies.

By his words, last year shipped own-produced goods, fulfilled works and services of the region accounted for 1,8 bln roubles. Work of the largest agricultural enterprise “KV-Agro” influence the outcomes of region’s livestock industry greatly. According to Marat Ziatdinov an acute problem of the region is still useless land meant for agricultural purposes (more than 10 thousand hectares).

Farid Mukhametshin asked the head of municipal formation about the reasons of the big gap between birth and death rate. By words of Marat Ziatdinov natural decline in the population is connected with outflow of youth due to absence of incentives.

Farid Mukhametshin stressed that the region faces certain advantages being located closely to Kazan. He addressed local authorities with request to make every effort for helping young people stay in the region.

The session of municipal Council was attended by vice chairman of RT State Council committee on economy, investments and entrepreneurship Marat Khairullin, Commissioner for human rights in RT Sariya Saburskaya and other officials.
