Farid Mukhametshin: Atninsky region plays an important role in preserving the language and traditions of Tatar people

Deputies of Council of Atninsky municipal region discussed outcomes of work for 2011 and plans for the current year on February, 18. Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in the event.

Head of the region Gabdulakhat Khakimov made a report at the session. Speaking to colleagues he stressed that improvement of residents’ life quality is the main task of local authorities. “In accordance with expected parameters of social and economic development not all tasks have been fulfilled, but in comparison with the year before situation has considerably changed,” the head stated.

All in all, according to outcomes of the previous year gross territorial product has made 1 bln 644 mln roubles, average salary in agricultural sector - 8 000 roubles. The head also focused on the problems of optimization of secondary comprehensive institutions.

The problem of youth outflow to big cities is still an acute problem in the village.

Head of Tatarstan Parliament Farid Mukhametshin summarized outcomes of the session. By his words, 2011 was rather successful for Atninsky region and the whole agricultural sector of the republic. “Residents of Atninsky region have made a considerable contribution. The region’s infrastructure is now dynamically developing,” Chairman of State Council stressed.

Head of Parliament focused on several urgent problems including attraction of personnel to rural areas, interethnic concord and migration policy, provision of housing for veterans and widows of war veterans.

Chairman of State Council reminded about programs of social-economic development of republic now being realized.

Finally Head of Parliament granted state awards to distinguished residents of the region.
