Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of the Board of Rosneft Company Gerhard Schroeder

On June 27, at the Governor's Palace of the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Rosneft Oil Company Gerhard Schroeder, who arrived on a working visit to Kazan to visit the match between German and South Korea teams at the Kazan Arena Stadium.

Before the meeting, Schroeder had a tour of the Kazan Kremlin.

Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Kazan Rafkat Kantyukov and Director General of KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, Schroeder expressed the warmest greetings to the first President of the republic – currently Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev.

Answering the journalists’ questions, Chairman of the Board of Rosneft Oil Company shared his impressions of the modern Kazan. According to him, a lot has changed in the city.

Answering the questions about the predictions for the match between the national teams of Germany and South Korea, Schroeder said that he respects his wife - she is from South Korea, but supposes that German team will win.
