Rustam Minnikhanov meets senior executives of the German Company “Wermuth Asset Management”

On June 27, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting the managing partner of the German investment company “Wermuth Asset Management” Jochen Wermuth.

Wermuth Asset Management is a German Investment Company, founded in 1999 and specializing in alternative investment strategies in Western Europe, including Russia.

Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov noted the positive dynamics of cooperation between Tatarstan and Germany. Nowadays, the republic actively cooperates with German partners. “We should expand our contacts,” he added.

The participants discussed the issues concerning the activities of the Clean Technology Fund, established in the republic in 2011, aimed at improving the energy efficiency and environmental sustainability of the regional economy.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic- regional Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other officials took part in the meeting.
