The Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin urged deputies of Alkeevsky and Spassky municipal regions to change the situation with natural decline in the population. Head of parliament announced the importance of demographic problems at report sessions of municipal councils during his working trip in two Tatarstan regions.

In Alkeevsky region Head of State Council firstly visited a livestock complex – mega farm “Chuvash Brod” which belongs to JSC “Krasny Vostok – Agro”. Six thousand head of cattle are kept here, milk production per day makes 40 thousand tons.

Farid Mukhametshin expressed positive opinion regarding the factory.

APK (Agricultural production cooperative) “Khuzangaevsky” is another successful example of investments in agricultural production. Volume of funding made 1184 thousand mln roubles.

In the village Nizhnee Alkeevo Farid Mukhametshin shared glad news connected with opening of new primary school and kindergarten after reconstruction.

Head of the municipal region Ferdinat Davletshin made a report at a session of the regional council. By his words within the last few years due to advent of big business more than 13 bln roubles have been invested in agricultural and processing production.

Upon arrival to Spassky municipal region Chairma of State Council visited regional House of children’s creativity in Bolgar town where he got familiar with realization of a republican program “Internet-longevity” aimed at teaching elderly people the basics of computer literacy.

Head of municipal formation Kamil Nugaev made report on outcomes of work in 2011 before deputies of Spassky regional council. He noted achievements of the region in terms of increase of business activity.

Speaking to the deputies Farid Mukhametshin noted that citizens of Spassky region must be happy because Tatarstan leadership has paid much attention to the region in recent years. A considerable amount of funds invested in development of Bolgar history and architecture museum impose obligations on the region’s authorities and residents.

Summing up, Farid Mukhametshin stated that in general Alkeevsky and Spassky municipal regions had coped with tasks set for 2011.
