Rustam Minnikhanov meets senior managers of the Chinese PAX Technology Limited Company

On June 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior managers of the Chinese PAX Technology Limited Company.

Founded in 2001, PAX Technology Limited is a global leader in the market of Point-of-Sale payment terminals, an innovative provider of payment solutions. The company is a subsidiary of PAX Global Technology Ltd., headquartered in Shenzhen (China).

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan attaches great importance to expanding business contacts and relations with partners from China. For example, Tatarstan has been closely cooperating with three Chinese provinces. In 2017, the trade turnover with China went up by 50 per cent. Major projects were implemented with the participation of Chinese partners, including the Ammoniy mineral fertilizer factory, he went on to say.

Minnikhanov also cited the Haier Company as a successful example of cooperation. In particular, the company built a factory for the production of household appliances in Tatarstan. Moreover, the Haier plans to establish a high-tech industrial park in the republic.

Tatarstan is interested in developing cooperation with PAX Technology Limited, Minnikhanov said. He noted that the company has many partners and distributors, including those in Russia.

Director General of Inpas Company, an official distributor of PAX solutions in Russia, Ilya Korobov briefly described the prospects for cooperation. He said that the Digital Loyalty System Company (Kazan) has developed a service for control of the process of retail purchase and identification of customers and that  the company is interested in promoting this service.

The representatives of the PAX Technology Limited said that during their stay in Kazan they visited the Digital Loyalty System Сompany and are ready to discuss options for partnership and participation in joint projects.
