FIFA President Gianni Infantino arrived in Kazan

On June 20, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who arrived in Kazan, was met by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov at the Kazan International Airport.

Upon his arrival to Kazan, Infantino went to the Kazan Arena Stadium, where before the match between Spain and Iran, he had a meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.  

During their meeting, Infantino emphasized that Kazan is well - prepared for the World Cup matches and a good atmosphere is established here. They also discussed a number of infrastructure-related issues under the preparation for the World Cup 2018.
