Rustam Minnikhanov holds several meetings at federal agencies during his working visit to Moscow

On June 13, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held several negotiations and meetings at federal ministries and other agencies.

In particular, Minnikhanov had closed-door meetings with Minister of Natural Resources of Russia Dimtry Kobylkin and Chairman of the State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs” Igor Shuvalov.

Later the same day, Minnikhanov visited the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Business (SME Corporation), where he had a meeting with its Head Alexander Braverman. 

Tatarstan and the SME Corporation have a large number of joint projects. Today, Minnikhanov and Braverman discussed steps for further cooperation at the regional level. Minnikhanov also introduced Farid Abdulganiev, who was appointed the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan in February this year.

Tatarstan President also came up with an idea to set up an agro-industrial park in every town of the republic.  It is assumed that through the implementation of this project, local famers will have more opportunities to sell their own products, as well as more incentives for the production of these products.
