Rustam Minnikhanov visits a concert in Kazan on the occasion of the Russia Day

On June 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a concert on the occasion of the Russia Day and said that it is the main state holiday celebrated by the whole country by its success, achievements and new facilities opened.

He mentioned the newly established Fan Fest zone of the FIFA World Cup 2018 as an example. Much is being done to improve the quality of the citizen’s life and for the development of public spaces, Minnikhanov noted.

“We are proud of our country! Russia must be strong! And Tatarstan should contribute to this power,” Tatarstan President said.

The concert programme started at the Kazan Family Center at noon and lasted until 7.00 pm. Such popular groups as “Bolshoi Kush” and “Murakami” and the best artists of the city and the republic, laureates of the youth festival “Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk” were participants of the concert.
