Rustam Minnikhanov walks along a new boulevard from the Kozya Sloboda metro station the Kazan Family Centre

On June 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with his Aide Natalia Fishman, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleyeva and other officials walked along a new boulevard between the Kozya Sloboda metro station and the Kazan Family Centre.

Near the building of the Tatmedia Regional Press and Mass Communications Agency, Minnikhanov and officials who accompanied him laid flowers at the monument "In memory of journalists and printing workers who defended their homeland in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".

At the book festival “Kazan reads, Tatarstan reads” held near the Tatmedia building, Minnikhanov talked to the writer Gouzel Yakhina, who presented him her new book, a novel “My Children”.
