Tatarstan President holds a meeting with representatives of Linde and Siemens Companies

On June 11, during his working visit to Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the representatives of Linde and Siemens Companies, where they discussed issues of implementation of joint investment projects in the areas of petrochemistry and energy in the republic.

In particular, the Linde is involved in the implementation of the project of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Petrochemical Company for the construction of a new olefin complex with a capacity of 600,000 tonnes of ethylene per year.

Director General of TAIF Production and Investment Company of Tatarstan Albert Shigabutdinov noted that today, the work on basic design and development of the master plan is under way. He also said that a regular meeting with the senior executives of the Linde will take place in Kazan next week. It is planned to discuss all proposals and issues on the implementation of this project in detail at the meeting.
