Rustam Minnikhanov speaks at the session of the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia Conference - 2018

On June 8, during the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia Conference - 2018 (CIPR-2018) held in Innopolis on June 6-8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the plenary session “Digital cooperation. New opportunities for cooperation between the State and business”.

For specialists, it is a topical intersectoral venue established for the consolidation of the industry and ensuring a global dialogue between the industry representatives, information and communication technologies  industry professionals, the defense industry, investors and the state on the most pressing and topical issues of digital economy development, non-primary exports, conversion in the defense industry and ensuring cybersecurity.

The event is supported by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia, Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the Government of Tatarstan, Rostech and Rosatom State Corporations.

Before to the start of the plenary session, Minnikhanov and his entourage visited the exhibition organized in the hall of the University of Innopolis, where they got acquainted with the development of the companies taking part in a specialized exhibition.

Welcoming the participants of the event, Minnikhanov expressed confidence that on the sidelines of CIPR-2018, professionals will have useful exchange of views, besides, the conference venue is an excellent opportunity to find partners.

Minnikhanov said that over 5,000 people from 44 federal entities, as well as foreign partners and guests, took part in CIPR-2018.

He expressed his gratitude to the Rostech Group for supporting the conference.

Minnikhanov outlined a number of areas being implemented by industrial enterprises of the republic as part of digital transformation. He reported on some inventions, implemented by Tatneft Oil Company.

“Let us set the issues that we will pay attention to next year,” Minnikhanov said, addressing the participants of the event and invited everyone to the next CIPR Conference next year.
