Aleksey Pesoshin: Laying the foundation stone of the Haier washing machine plant in Naberezhnye Chelny is a landmark event

On May 29, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with senior executives of Haier Company.

He greeted the delegation on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and on behalf of Tatarstan Government.

He said that the signing of the cooperation agreement between Tatarstan and the Chinese province of Shandong in 2008 became a good start for the development of relations with the Haier.

Tatarstan Prime Minister said that on May 28, 2018, laying the first foundation stone of the Haier washing machine plant was held in Naberezhnye Chelny, “that was a landmark event for us”, he said.

Pesoshin noted that the Haier is a “number one company” in the global household appliances market in the world ranking, and it is gratifying to emphasize that Tatarstan and the company have found areas of agreement and are working on a mutually beneficial basis.
