Rustam Minnikhanov meets Vice President and Managing Director of Armstrong World Industries Wilfred Middel

On May 29, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice President and Managing Director EMEA of Armstrong World Industries Wilfred Middel discussed further development of relations.

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov stated that Tatarstan and Armstrong Company are successfully cooperating. For example, in 2013, in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone the foundation stone of a new production facility was laid and in 2015 the new plant was launched.

Today, the products of this modern plant are in demand in the market, Minnikhanov said. He also noted that Armstrong Company creates new jobs in Tatarstan and invests in the economy of the region.

In his turn, Middel briefly described the current activities of the company and plans for further development.

Then, the meeting discussed other operational issues.
